Privacy policy

resmiOS · 16 September 2026

resmiOS is a private system operated by one individual for their own personal use. It has no other users and accepts no sign-ups. This policy describes how it handles that operator's own data, including data obtained through Google APIs.

What is accessed

resmiOS requests the gmail.readonly scope and uses it only on the operator's own account. It reads mail in order to index it, and does nothing else: it never sends, modifies or deletes anything. No other person's account is accessed.

Why

The sole purpose is a private, searchable index of the operator's own archive. There is no other feature and no other use.

Storage and sharing

Data is held on a server controlled by the operator and is not published or made available to anyone else. Google user data is never sold, rented or shared, and is not used for advertising or to train machine-learning models. Content is passed to third-party processors only as needed to produce the search index itself, under those providers' terms, and for no other purpose.

Limited Use

resmiOS's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Retention and revocation

Data is kept while the operator keeps the archive and is deleted when the operator deletes it. Access can be withdrawn at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions, which stops all further access immediately.
